Deputy Director for Digital Intelligence

Orbis is seeking an experienced Deputy Director for Digital Intelligence to oversee the delivery and performance of our intelligence services portfolio. This role is critical to ensuring consistent, high-quality execution of OSINT training, client advisory, and analytic service offerings across federal, commercial, and international markets.

The Deputy Director will translate strategic priorities into operational excellence, managing service delivery teams, maintaining client satisfaction, integrating emerging OSINT tools and data sources, and continuously evolving delivery standards to meet dynamic mission needs.

This is an experienced position requiring deep experience in open-source collection, operational targeting, and international collaboration within the U.S. intelligence community.

Key Responsibilities

• Intelligence Delivery Leadership
  Lead the team of three+ intelligence analysts to produce exceptional quality reports delivered to U.S. government agencies, corporate clients, and international partners. Drawing on your expertise as an intelligence analyst, shape ways of working and thinking to ensure the latest tools and methodologies are deployed.
• OSINT Training Program Oversight
  Develop, manage, and deliver tailored intelligence training programs to clients across sectors, integrating advanced tools and operational tradecraft.
• SME Support to Product & Clients
  Serve as a subject matter expert on digital intelligence, supporting the Orbis Discovery product team with feature development and enhancement, and guiding Discovery platform users through advanced use cases.
• Tool Onboarding & Integration
  Oversee the testing, evaluation, and operationalization of third-party digital intelligence tools within Orbis workflows, ensuring effective use for advisory and consulting engagements.
• Support Pan Service Delivery
  Support the Director of Services and other services areas to ensure joined up proposals, effective results, and seamless ways of working for clients.

Required Skills

• Minimum 15 years of experience as a federal employee at civilian agencies within the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC). Contractor-only experience will not be considered.
• Demonstrated experience as an Intelligence Analyst/Targeter with extensive experience with open-source intelligence.
• Overseas experience supporting U.S. missions in collaboration with partner and allied intelligence services.
• Proven ability to lead intelligence programs and mentor analysts in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong communication skills and client-facing presence.
• Candidate must live in the DC Metro Area
• The role is 60% on site 40% remote
• 15% Travel ~ It includes opportunities to travel overseas
• MUST have an active Top Secret Clearance with Poly

Desirable Skills

• Experience with OSINT tool ecosystems, including tool procurement, testing, and adoption.
• Familiarity with digital intelligence tradecraft in private-sector or international government settings.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings.
• Attending meeting in person in the DMV on weekly basis.
