Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is searching for a full-time IT Infrastructure Management Technical Lead in Chantilly, VA to support a top-tier federal client engaged in national security and counterterrorism operations.The ideal candidate will provide both hands-on technical leadership and strategic direction for complex infrastructure operations supporting multi-enclave networks (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret).
This is an on-site position. Chantilly, VA is the primary place of service, however working in alternate locations within the Washington DC metropolitan area or other locations throughout the United States may be required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of enterprise infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud platforms.
- Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable IT infrastructure across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Provide systems, network, and software engineering support including monitoring, compliance, and incident response.
- Serve as the senior technical authority on infrastructure decisions, providing guidance to engineers and aligning with IT strategy.
- Ensure 24/7 monitoring and incident management to optimize performance and resolve outages quickly.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity plans.
- Enforce infrastructure security standards in coordination with cybersecurity and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, HIPAA, SOC 2).
- Mentor junior engineers, review code/architecture, and foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure reliable, cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting on infrastructure health, capacity, and availability.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- 13+ years of relevant technical experience or a Master's degree in a related field.
- Strong expertise in:
- Virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Windows Server and/or Linux administration
- Networking protocols and configuration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs)
- Storage systems (SAN, NAS, cloud)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog, SolarWinds)
- Infrastructure automation/scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible)
- Virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management.
- Proven experience in disaster recovery and backup strategy planning.
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and team mentorship in technical environments.
- Willingness to support flexible or extended hours and travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Associate)
- Networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+)
- Security certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitOps)
- Familiarity with IAM, SSO, and MFA solutions
