Duties
Help
  • Serves as senior Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) staff specialist and advisor on quality assurance functions, policies, and implementation
  • Plans, formulates, and coordinates master quality assurance plans, policies, and programs for worldwide application at DCMA field activities
  • Evaluates effectiveness of plans and policies and develops improvements
  • Provides technical assistance and advice on intricate quality assurance issues to HQ DCMA management and field activities worldwide
  • Leads team projects to eliminate barriers to continuous improvement in agency quality assurance functions
  • Provides liaison with various DCMA, DoD, other Government senior managers, organizations, and industries

  • Security Requirements: Non-critical sensitive with Secret access

Qualifications

B. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. To qualify for the NH-04 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-03 or GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
  • Develops quality assurance plans, policies, and programs for agency implementation
  • Assesses the impact of policies on quality assurance functions
  • Develops written technical information into policy


Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
