Senior Corporate Communications Support/Graph

Position Overview

The Senior Corporate Communications Support/Graphics Illustrator is responsible for managing graphic projects from conception through completion, utilizing a broad range of industry-standard software to create, edit, and produce high-quality electronic and print communication products. This role supports the design of displays, technical exhibits, workspace enhancements, and multimedia content to promote and explain the Aerospace Systems Directorate's mission, research efforts, and accomplishments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute graphic projects using Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, and other relevant tools.
• Design award boards, trade show displays, and technical display exhibits that effectively communicate scaled hardware models and research accomplishments.
• Collaborate on workspace design projects, including lobby and facility enhancements, with oversight of planning and development activities.
• Develop clear, professional products in various formats such as posters, brochures, charts, maps, banners, videos, and digital multimedia presentations using best practices and design principles.
• Provide high-resolution digital photographic services, including ground, aerial, and studio shots of personnel, technologies, and working environments for use across multiple media platforms.
• Produce videography and video production services, including original footage capture, editing, and integration of sound and graphics into polished multimedia compositions.
• Develop, produce, and render multimedia products including 3-D animations, electronic presentations, on-camera interviews, packaged stories, and television advertisements.
• Write multimedia scripts and provide professional narration as needed.
• Digitally edit video and audio productions to ensure high-quality output.
• Maintain a solid understanding of creative trends, current design, and development technologies, including video and social media trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in graphic design, multimedia production, and corporate communications.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, and related software tools.
• Strong skills in graphic illustration, technical display design, photography, videography, video editing, and multimedia production.
• Experience with 3-D animation and electronic presentation development.
• Excellent scriptwriting and professional narration capabilities.
• Knowledge of current creative trends and digital media technologies.

Education

• Associate Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Communications, or related field required.
