Position Overview

The Contractor shall support administrative tasks to assist IT acquisition functions, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry functions including Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System ( CCaR ) and Computer Systems Requirement Document (CSRD).
  • Integrate information into reports and generate/maintain training requirements, files, forms, and file plans (paper and electronic).
  • Process mail and packages, including receiving, signing for, and distribution.
  • Prepare correspondence following standard government formats.
  • Manage and operate facsimile, printing, copying equipment, and support supplies and equipment ordering.
  • Comply with security regulations related to classified material handling.
  • Assist with use of USAF desktop systems to produce databases, spreadsheets, graphics, and other products.
  • Facilitate use of standardized purchasing forms such as Form 9/PR ( CCaR ), CSRD, Notes to Buyer, Justification and Approval (J&A), and Bill of Materials.
  • Support Record Custodian duties including establishment and maintenance of master files and file plans for classified/unclassified data.
  • Assist in creation, implementation, and maintenance of Acquisition Instructions and Self Inspection checklists, tracking deficiencies and corrective actions.
  • Serve as initial focal point for all IT acquisitions.
  • Submit RFQs on GSA 2GIT, NASA SEWP, and create shopping carts in Air Force Advantage and Office Runway.
  • Retrieve data and generate reports to support acquisition tracking and government reviews.
  • Provide timely access to tracking documentation to minimize mission disruption risks.
  • Analyze asset usage trends and advise on procurement needs and vendor delivery timelines.
  • Advise customers on government purchase requirements for licenses and bulk purchases.
  • Support purchasing planning and execution for hardware, software, systems, data storage, backup/recovery services, and networks.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience supporting IT acquisition and administrative functions.
  • Proficient with USAF desktop systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and government acquisition tools.
  • Knowledge of acquisition documentation, processes, and government purchasing platforms (GSA 2GIT, NASA SEWP, Air Force Advantage).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and data management skills .
  • Ability to manage classified and unclassified records securely.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.

Education
  • Associate Degree in Business Administration, Acquisition, Information Technology, or related field required.
