Strategic Analysis, Inc. (SA) Is actively seeking a Senior Commercialization Advisor to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H).
This candidate will help build transition milestones and transition programs, as well as communicate key considerations in the marketplace as they relate to program development. This candidate will also advise leadership on overall strategy as it applies broadly to programs. Serve as a product subject matter expert and drive the implementation of best practices to understand customer needs, determine product strategies, produce product roadmaps, and drive product execution including identification of personas, requirements, epics, user stories, and tasks

Qualification Requirements:
At least 10 years of experience in healthcare strategy, commercialization or investment strategy.
Proven expertise in technology transfer, digital technology, and diagnostic technology.
Demonstrated experience conducting independent research, analyzing data, and producing professional reports.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
Strong work ethic with a passion for healthcare impact and scientific discovery.

Roles/Responsibilities:
Work holistically across the full ARPA-H program portfolio to identify unmet needs and high-potential opportunities for investment and commercialization.
Perform portfolio-wide analyses to highlight white spaces that represent new strategic directions or technologies for ARPA-H.
Develop strategies that prioritize and guide ARPA-H investment toward areas with the potential for transformative impact and high return on investment (ROI).
Provide advanced commercialization support and technical expertise to ARPA-H program teams.
Develop and implement strategies for stakeholder engagement and key services supporting transition and commercialization
Advise on the design, execution, and improvement of transition programs.
Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness and outcomes of commercialization initiatives, recommending improvements for future efforts.
Build strong relationships and collaborate within diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
Clearly communicate complex scientific and business concepts to varied audiences.
Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions and strategic problem-solving to propel ARPA-H programs forward.
Support agency-level portfolio commercialization strategy, including whitespace analyses, impact/ROI assessments, and monitoring overall progress toward technology transition.
Develop commercialization strategies for ARPA-H programs and performers from an investor or business perspective
Lead the creation of assets to succinctly communicate business concepts and their application to transformative technologies (e.g., reimbursement pathways, customer discovery).
Conduct commercial gap analyses to assess performer needs and identify commercial and operational risks.
Ensure high-quality market landscape assessments and other commercialization analyses produced by vendors for program managers and performers .

Experience:
MBA or equivalent business experience
Experience in program or project management
Experience with intellectual property (IP) and licensing strategies
Experience in user-centered product development, engagement, and the transition of healthcare solutions
Familiarity with FDA regulations and integration of technology into clinical and care delivery workflows
Three years or more experience within an ARPA organization

Education: PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
