Test Engineer - GMD Weapon System
Onsite in Huntsville, AL
Minimum Starting Salary: $90,000/Year
Actual salary is based on experience and quallifications.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule, execute, and monitor testing for the Ground Systems Segment (GSS) Integrated Product Team (IPT).
- Develop and implement test plans, integration plans, and procedures for system-level integration.
- Track and report on test progress, quality status, and results, adapting the test approach based on evolving conditions.
- Analyze test outcomes against technical requirements and guidance, adjusting test criteria and documentation accordingly.
- Utilize tools such as Eggplant, Gitlab, and Bitbucket to support test automation and version control.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with software, systems, and integration teams to support test readiness and execution.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Active Secret Clearance required to start
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM-related field
- 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's, 3+ years with a Master's, or 1+ years with a PhD
- Proven experience in:
- System-level test planning and execution
- C++ development
- Python and scripting languages
- Test criteria development based on technical requirements
- Eggplant automation tools
- Gitlab or Bitbucket version control systems
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Security+ Certification
- Prior experience with:
- Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD)
- Missile Defense Systems
- Cameo modeling tool
- Java development
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%
