Position Overview:
Titania is seeking a qualified Data Analyst & Program Support Specialist to support the Unmanned Aircraft Flight Restriction (UAFR) program at the FAA. This ASH-300 role is a critical on-site position located at FAA Headquarters in Washington, DC, responsible for analyzing and processing UAFR eligibility applications and supporting data-driven decision-making.
Duties & Responsibilities:
As a core member of the ASH-300 team, you will:
Serve as the primary point of contact for UAFR eligibility analysis and processing
Conduct facility security evaluations using the FAA’s Security Assessment Tool (SAT)
Analyze vulnerability and security posture data to determine the necessity of UAFRs
Collaborate closely with other ASH teams and provide backup support to the supervisor
Review and evaluate SAT applications for security risks
Perform statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns in data
Utilize database tools and data visualization platforms to generate reports and support strategic decisions
Review boundary maps for accuracy using SAT mapping features
Log application status accurately and maintain processing queues
Ensure all applications meet regulatory compliance requirements
Act as a subject matter contact for inquiries regarding SAT applications
Contribute to and update processor manuals and internal training guides
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following education and experience pathways:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (with at least 24 semester hours in business, law, accounting, or related fields) plus 5 years of relevant experience, or
Without a degree: Minimum 13 years of relevant professional experience in a related field
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience working with the FAA or within the aviation industry
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
Experience with data management tools, visualization platforms, or assessment systems
Strong oral and written communication skills for interacting with both internal and external stakeholders
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical thinking abilities
