In this role, you will be supporting the Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) team in designing and implementing technologies critical to the USAF Open Architecture initiatives. Our work influences the investment decisions of our senior leadership and customer program offices as well as impacting the Air Force enterprise of acquisition programs. The candidate will work with the Architect and Software Lead to design supporting Next-Generation Mission Systems. The candidate should have experience in developing software with an agile focused team and is knowledgeable of the software development lifecycle and be able to work independently.

Salary Range: $77,200.00 - $115,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Design, develop, and document software for mission planning solutions
- Collaborate with the Chief Architect and Lead Systems Engineer to build and test OMS tools, services, and bridges?

- Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 2 Years experience; OR a master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 0 Years experience.
- Familiarity with software development tools such as: Python, C++, Java
- Familiar with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE),
- Experience with UCI Schema and CAL development
- Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of traditional systems engineering concepts and methodologies
- Active SAP
- Knowledge of Universal Armament Interface (UAI)
- Experience with embedded software development?.
- Experience integrating and debugging software on hardware.
- Experience working within an Agile environment.
- Experience in integrating complex system across multiple domains
- Knowledge and experience with USAF Open Architecture approaches
