At Corelight, we believe that the best approach to cybersecurity risk starts with the network. Attackers can evade endpoint detection, firewalls and many other technologies - but they can’t avoid leaving digital footprints on the networks they traverse. Built on open-source innovations from Zeek, Suricata and YARA and refined through years of real-world use, Corelight transforms network footprints from physical, virtual and cloud networks into actionable insights. Our customers use these insights to speed incident response and proactively hunt for threats.
Corelight is seeking a highly-motivated, inherently curious individual to join our team as a Pre-Sales Security Engineer for our Federal Team. In this role you will be promoting security, developing presentations, account plans, and responding to RFI/RFPs. You will use your technical aptitude and business acumen to develop solutions that address customer problems while establishing trust. An ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about security, thrives when they solve customer problems, listens well, and has start-up DNA.

Be a subject matter expert for Corelight solutions
Act as a trusted advisor providing security technical expertise
Develop sales presentations, solution designs, and demonstrations that articulate the technical differentiators and business value of Corelight solutions

Participate in the development and support of content (for example: presentations, whitepapers, blogs, webinars, and use cases)
Foster a collaborative, team-based environment, sharing best practices, success and building lasting relationships.
