Mayvin is seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst to support the Asset Forfeiture Division and United States Marshals Service (USMS) Personnel as required. The Senior Procurement Analyst interprets Federal and Department Regulatory requirements governing the procurement and advises and assists contracting and operating personnel in applying related policies.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to undergo and pass a background investigation (BI)

Responsibilities :
- Assist with the review of pre-award and post-award contracting actions
- Conduct file evaluations to review market research findings, determination, and findings, file completeness and accuracy, adherence to USMS and internal DOJ policies, small business requirements, including FAR and DOJ clauses, terms and conditions, and inclusion of appropriate funding (Evaluation will include determining the presence of any applicable errors that must be remedied)
- Disseminate procurement policies, procedures, and regulations
- Assist with the performance of contract administration duties and provide input based on forecasting justification for proposals and activities of the USMS
- Assist with monitoring and updating of the USMS Contracting Officers and Contracting Officer Representatives' warrant tracking system
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree with at least 24 hours of business credits
- Minimum 15 years of related acquisitions working experience demonstrating the required duties and responsibilities. This experience must include a detailed knowledge of various acquisition methods and types
- Extensive knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements as well as policies and procedures applicable to the award and administration of Federal Assistance Agreements (i.e., grants and cooperative agreements)
- General knowledge of PRISM or other Government databases
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications :
- Former 1102 Contracting Officer (GS-14 and above)
