Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Experience in active-duty military service, support contractor and/or DoD civilian in a warfare specialty at progressively more difficult levels in planning, developing and executing technical projects of a research and development (R&D) nature.
Qualifications Required:
- At least fifteen years' experience with bolstering the development and implementation of advanced ISR / PED technologies and systems.
- Experience includes:
- Supporting a warfare specialty including planning, developing, and executing technical projects of a R&D nature, concerned with unique or controversial problems which have an important effect on major DoD programs.
- Demonstrated skill in conceiving, planning, and conducting research studies combining operational expertise with novel technology approaches and sophisticated research techniques to assess military effectiveness and engineering viability.
- Demonstrated experience working within the DoD (Joint Staff, Services, Command and Functional Commands) to advance capability development and increase investment in the most viable capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices in technological programs, preferably one that has transitioned to operational use.
- Experience, background and knowledge of program transition efforts is highly preferred.
- Joint/COCOM staff experience is highly preferred.
- Air Force ISR Course / Weapons School Graduate is highly preferred.
Education:
- MS in related discipline
- PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline preferred
