RAND is currently seeking Mid-Senior level Administrative Assistants to provide high-level support to national security work requiring a Department of Defense (DoD) clearance. This role requires a self-starter and strong team player who is forward thinking, able to swiftly change pace, adapts to changing priorities and can juggle complex assignments while working under minimal supervision.

Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of Mac and/or PC platforms, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Security Clearance
This position requires a DoD security clearance. Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. Candidates with an active clearance are preferred.
Experience
Administrative Assistant IV : 4 years minimum experience; 6 years preferred
Administrative Assistant V : 5 years minimum experience; 6 years preferred
Education
Minimum: High School; Preferred: BS/BA
Location
Washington, DC (some roles offer hybrid and flexible schedules). Fully remote is not available for this role.
Salary Range: $57,400 - $96,100
Administrative Assistant IV $57,400 - $ 85,500
Administrative Assistant V $64,400 - $96,100
