Position Overview:
The Client Aeronautics Sensor Fusion team is seeking a highly skilled Radar Mode Development Engineer or Sensor Fusion Algorithm Developer to support advanced radar and sensor fusion capabilities for aircraft systems. This role focuses on the development of embedded software and algorithms that enhance real-time sensor integration and radar performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and integrate embedded software for real-time avionics systems.
  • Develop and implement radar modes and sensor fusion algorithms to support operational flight programs.
  • Contribute to software requirements, architecture, design, code, reviews, and testing.
  • Analyze and verify algorithm performance using simulation tools such as MATLAB.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support full software development lifecycle.
  • Support radar integration and testing, including validation of AESA radar systems.
  • Generate and evaluate "what-if" scenarios to support mission-critical decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Active SECRET with an investigation in the last 5 years or CE enrollment
  • Either Fusion/Algorithm experience or Radar integration experience
  • 10+ years of hands-on embedded C++ development.
  • 10+ years of algorithm implementation and verification (MATLAB).
  • 5+ years of experience in Fusion development or Kalman Filter applications.
  • 5+ years of Radar development/integration experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Visual Studio and Windows or Linux environments.
  • Experience with RTOS (Windows & Linux).
  • Strong understanding of sensor mode development and algorithm design.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Agile software development and tools like JIRA.
  • Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Strong background in AESA radar systems, signal processing, and tracking algorithms.
  • Prior experience with aircraft tracker development and Kalman filtering techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with early-stage development programs.

An ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role.
