Logistics Manager

As a logistics manager, you know that every program relies on clearly defined management processes to work. You understand Air Force ( AF ) and air mobility supply, aerial port, and defense transportation missions, and the information systems supporting them. We're looking for a logistics manager like you to apply your logistics and process improvement experience to help analyze, develop, and propose solutions to enhance the client's global mobility mission.
As a logistics manager on our AF team, you'll help identify the root cause of challenges impacting mission performance. You'll use your findings to design and propose courses of action to address limiting factors and create new efficiencies. Your experience with AF logistics systems and processes is essential to ensuring quality when designing mission-critical solutions.
In this role, you'll use your logistics and materials knowledge to contribute to the mission readiness of warfighters. You'll work closely with senior team members and grow your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with asset management
- 5+ years of experience identifying and implementing process improvements in logistics functions
- Ability to collaborate closely with and support multiple task leads and teams across various tasks, providing strategic insights and thought leadership in logistics management
- Ability to manage and oversee logistics projects from initiation through completion
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights for logistics and asset management
- Ability to communicate and convey complex concepts effectively to various audiences clearly and concisely, and work independently with minimal supervision while being an effective team collaborator
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
