VTC Technician
TEKsystems is seeking a VTC Technician with DOE Q or TS clearance for a full-time position located in Los Alamos. This role supports the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) by providing comprehensive Video Conferencing services, including Self-Help Knowledge Portals, remote Service Desk support, and in-field customer engagement. The technician will be the first point of contact for IT problem resolution, aiming to enhance user satisfaction and streamline support services.
Essential Job Functions
• Promotes a positive and respectful workplace.
• Handles customer escalations and liaises with government/client officials.
• Possesses current working knowledge of VTC/AV components, equipment, and collaboration software (MS Teams).
• Supports Video Conferencing Services for NNSA End-Users, including planning, implementation, training, and management.
• Configures, operates, and troubleshoots all audio/video equipment for VTCs and MS Teams meetings.
• Collaborates with clients to determine AV needs before events.
• Provides technical assistance and training to users of VTC equipment.
• Monitors ticket queue, creates and assigns tickets, and ensures timely updates and resolution.
• Escalates tickets as needed and documents problems, solutions, and user satisfaction.
• Prepares accurate documentation to support VTC processes, including SOPs and reference guides.
• Maintains and stores information such as as-built diagrams and job aides.
• Identifies opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Experience
• DOE Q or TS clearance (mandatory).
• Hands-on experience with VTC/AV systems and collaboration platforms.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in documenting technical processes and resolutions.
