Site Manager

Overview

Site Manager (RWR-2025-23226):

Bowhead seeks to network with a Site Manager for an upcoming proposal effort to lead structured cabling upgrades at McConnell AFB.

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all onsite activities.
• Manage day-to-day operations including scheduling, logistics, and coordination with base personnel.
• Lead project briefings, manage deliverables, and ensure work aligns with contract scope and PWS standards.
• Supervise teams conducting removal and installation of Cat-6 cabling, racks, and telecom hardware.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and site-specific security requirements.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Education
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Years of experience
  • Minimum 5 years managing telecommunications infrastructure projects, including team supervision and client interaction.
• Required skills or certifications
  • Demonstrated leadership of structured cabling or ISP/OSP projects.
  • Familiarity with TIA/EIA standards and military installation protocols.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
