Position Responsibilities
The selected candidate will support the C2BMC DevSecOps team and the Authorization and Assessment team to develop and deploy Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capability for C2BMC Security Tools. The candidate will assist in the system administration of multiple environments, software deployment, troubleshooting, and automation in a DevSecOps environment for a critical customer program. We are working with the leading DevOps practices and tooling (Hashicorp Tools, Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible Tower and Nexus Pro).

Emerging authority typically with an advanced degree and 7+ years\' experience or bachelors with 9+ years\' experience or equivalent. Appropriate IAT Level II DoDI 8570 certification required.

Pay Range: $55.19/hr-$69.1/hr
Position Responsibilities

- Work on systems administration related issues with hardware and software for different network environments.
- Support deployment of custom software solutions integrating COTS, GOTS, and developed software.
- Propose system administration process improvement to reduce overall maintenance requirements by working with the design team and manufacturers.
- Determines systems requirements, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system configuration.
- Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies.
- Develops and recommends corrective actions.
- May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.
Experience Required
- 3-5 years\' experience with continuous integration environments in Network, Software, or platform infrastructure capability automation, development, and deployment.
- Experience with Linux/UNIX or Windows system administration.
- Experience with a shell scripting language (e.g., Python, Powershell, etc.). Desired:
- Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible, GitLab, Nexus or other equivalent technology
- Experience with developing formal builds within the DoD industry.
Technical Skills Required
- Experience with CI/CD best practices, automated builds and tests, quality gates, software quality, and CI tools, i.e., Gitlab CI
- Experience with configuration management tools, i.e Nexus, Gitlab
- Familiarity with branching strategies, gated commits, source-controlled management
- Familiarity with the principle of DevSecOps
- Atlassian JIRA or other defect tracking tool experience
- Atlassian Confluence, GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins, and Nexus repository experience
- Familiarity with security coding standard best practices, static and dynamic scanning tools, i.e., SonarQube, Fortify, Coverity, PCLint, etc.
- Programming and scripting experience in a UNIX environment (C++, Perl, Python, Bash, Ruby, Shell, Scripts)
- Programming and scripting experience in a Windows environment
- Ensure efficient and effective verification, evaluation, implementation update and maintenance of the Information System Configuration Compliance baseline using DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Security Requirements Guides (SRGs), Program Guidance and/or Vendor Guidance; Has a working knowledge of ACAS (Tenable.sc / Tenable Nessus), Evaluate STIG, Trivy, SCAP or other cyber scanning tools
