ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead Network Administrator to join our team in Doral, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Serves as the recognized technical authority and subject matter expert for network infrastructure, with deep knowledge across advanced networking technologies and domains.
  • Provides strategic leadership in the development and implementation of enterprise-wide network strategies, architectures, and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and security standards.
  • Offers expert guidance, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to Network Administrators and Engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous learning.
  • Designs, implements, and manages highly complex network solutions, including large-scale enterprise, cloud-based, and sophisticated hybrid network architectures.
  • Conducts advanced network performance analysis, proactive capacity planning, and comprehensive security assessments to optimize efficiency, reliability, and security at scale.
  • Leads the evaluation, selection, and implementation of cutting-edge network technologies and tools, driving innovation and ensuring infrastructure agility.
  • Collaborates with other IT Teams, Security Teams, executive leadership, and stakeholders to ensure strategic network solutions meet business requirements and support organizational goals.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, network engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field necessary to assume Network Administrator duties or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a required bachelor's degree
  • 12+ years of experience with 7+ years of position-specific Network Administrator experience
  • 5+ years in a lead or Architect role, demonstrating a deep understanding of complex network design, implementation, and management across diverse environments, including large-scale enterprise networks, cloud-based networks, and hybrid architectures.
  • Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based network solutions, including virtual private clouds (VPCs), transit gateways, and cloud-native networking services.
  • Expert-level certifications in relevant networking technologies, such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Routing and Switching, Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE), or equivalent certifications from other vendors (e.g., Juniper Networks, Huawei).
  • Advanced security certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP). Professional-level cloud certifications from major cloud providers (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Professional, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect-Expert, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect).


Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD degree in computer science, network engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting DoD programs and cloud-based technologies. In-depth knowledge and experience in specific networking domains, such as software-defined networking (SDN), network function virtualization (NFV), network automation, or cybersecurity incident response.
  • Experience with advanced network security technologies, such as intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring Technical Teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning. Experience developing and delivering technical training programs and presentations.
  • Active participation in industry organizations and conferences, contributing to the advancement of networking knowledge and best practices. Publications or presentations on advanced networking topics. ITIL Foundation certificate.
  • Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.


Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have an active Secret clearance


Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
