Further position details:
This is a junior role responsible for supporting the design, engineering, implementation, optimization, and management of Tenable/Nessus/ACAS in an unclassified and classified DoD environment. This role will need to coordinate and collaborate with system administrators, other security engineers, and various leaders to successfully administer the system. Supplying scan results to 'customers' in both a timely and accurate manner are key. Strong communication skills are necessary.
Sample tasks include (but are not limited to): developing and maintaining scan policies/zones, developing and maintaining dashboards, interpreting and providing recommended resolutions to scan results, informing risk management processes/procedures/packages, configuring systems in compliance with Federal regulations (STIGs, FISMA, FIPS, etc.), creating/maintaining SOPs, responding to incidents, supporting maintenance activities, generating technical and functional reports, and other duties as assigned.
