HR Subject Matter Expert
The Opportunity:
As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don't. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to solve some of our clients' most complex problems-and find solutions that keep our nation safe. As a HR and Business Process SME, you'll bring your leadership, advising, and technical expertise to work alongside thought leaders in human capital and finance management, technical, and consult ing. You'll use your skills and expertise to develop, analyze, assess, plan, and support the customer industry.
In this role, you'll provide client-site support and work with key internal and external stakeholders across all Army Components to take part in the client's system activities, provide input, and take part in senior-level briefings, as required. You'll assist with facilitating working groups for the development of audit readiness and finan cia l management solutions, optimization, and finan cia l standardization in the system. You'll work with the program management team and the system integrator to facilitate understanding of functional and military pay requirements and impacts to end users. You'll coordinate across government entities in analyzing and implementing plans, policies , and operational procedures for HR and military pay operations. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with Active Army, Army National Guard, and Army Reserve HR and Military Pay processes, systems, benefits, regulations
- Experience with the Army National Guard and Army Reserve drill pay and annual training compe nsa tion
- Experience with active duty for operational support, ( ADOS ) , and the systems and processes used to project and budget for all military pay entitlements
- Experience with the Army or DoD
- Experience with Azure DevOps for use in Agile Build and Test activities
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships at all levels of the organization
- Bachelor's degree
- Secret clearance

- Experience working with personnel and pay solution
- Experience with government operations, HR policies , and business operations
- Experience with Army Law, Regulation, and Policy impact analysis
- Ability to resp ond quickly to tasks and scheduling requests
- Possession of excellent organizational and prioritization skills
