Sr. Systems Administrator

This position requires a TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph in active status for consideration (MD Customer)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. Systems Administrator to join a long term program that supports a complex, multi site infrastructure across the US. This infrastructure is anchored by RedHat Linux based high performance computing clusters. This environment will be integrating a host of tools in Windows and Linux environments. This is a highly classified program that will take place fully on site in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Systems Administrator include:

• Implement secure system designs using best practices in software and systems engineering.
• Provide end-to-end IT support in secure lab environments, from desktops to servers.
• Manage system access, patching, and release planning for hardware/software.
• Support classified networks and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Administer and maintain Linux and Windows systems, including virtualized environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues; automate tasks using scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
• Integrate and maintain applications and infrastructure in accordance with RMF/JSIG standards.

Qualifications for the Sr. Systems Administrator include:

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (MD Customer)
• 9+ years of experience in lab/test environments and classified networks.
• Strong background in Linux and Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with IT hardware, networking equipment, and HPC systems.
• Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

Compensation for the Sr. Systems Administrator include:

• Salary Range: $130,000 - $185,000 **depending on experience** Multiple LCAT's available
