Position: Capture Director
Location: Herndon, VA or Huntsville, AL preferred but flexible to other locations. REMOTE
Clearance: Secret clearance
Our great client is seeking a mission-oriented Capture Director with deep experience driving, shaping, and capturing large, complex deals with DoD customers. You will be playing a vital role in creating a safer tomorrow though offering digital solutions related to real-time data processing and visualization, space-ground systems, and other related joint and/or all-domain operations. This role location may be hybrid at our Herndon, VA office or remote if strategically located near customers.
This position is established to qualify and capture large $100M+ government acquisitions for our Digital Solutions Group. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that is focused on successful pursuit, capture, and winning proposals. Efforts include driving capture and proposal readiness from early positioning and shaping efforts, to development and implementation of win strategies, through pre-Request for Proposal activities, and continuing through written/oral proposal development, negotiations, award and transition. Proven track record of successful capture and proposal management on strategic $100M+ bids and orchestrating multi-disciplined resourcing against pipeline priorities.

Required Skills & Experience
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Overall 10+ years of professional or service experience with related technologies
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum 6+ years combined experience with any of the following: strategic capture, business development, proposal development, and/or solutions development.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience as a capture manager developing and leading multiple RFP based capture efforts that have won major multi-year DoD contracts totaling at least $100 million in the last 3 years.
- Understanding of the full business development lifecycle
- Experience leading FEDSIM proposals is highly desired
- Prior experience with structured Capture/Proposal Methodologies.
- Experience interacting with and briefing senior government and industry acquisition officials
- Proactive, organized, aggressive, and highly-skilled professional
- Experience building winning teams that include subcontractors, whether those be small business or traditional/non-traditional defense contractors.
- Contribute to decisions to Prime vs subcontract depending on pwin and customer/requirement understanding
- Experience with contributing to proposals and the RFI, RFQ, or Capability based response processes
- Strong communication and presentation skills, while maintaining a positive attitude, strong drive for results
- Collaborative and proactive work across SMX teams to achieve broader company growth objectives and provide a strong foundation for customer success during execution
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Comfortable working with Business Development, Financial, Proposal, Product, and COE teams during the Capture process

- Strong existing networking of contacts within US Space Force or other agencies leveraging remote sensing technologies for real-time processing, CJADC2, or similar
