Versar Global Solutions is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill positions for the Electrical Engineer on Prince Sultan Air Base in Al Kharj, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of the Power Production Services and Engineering Design Assistance and Construction Management program. Your Impact

• Electrical Engineers will provide complete design assistance services including power load determination, exterior electrical, interior electrical, and site lighting designs. Electrical engineers will be familiar with local/applicable codes and shall comply with communications requirements and account for them in design documents.
• This discipline will also review each design to ensure that all UFC, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standards, and building construction specifications are met.
• This discipline attends meetings as required for projects or investigative/project development tasking.
• This discipline will also be responsible for selected construction inspections, quality control, and submittal reviews beyond the expertise of construction managers.
• This discipline will provide technical advice, backed up by professional engineering judgment and calculations, for work proposed on work requests by other base agencies. Technical advice may require analysis of designs from other agencies, developing engineering design drawings, developing bills of materials, or providing advice on sequence of activities for work to be executed by military labor.
• In addition, this discipline may be required to travel to areas in the local area outside of the military installation to verify design requirements and quality of work being performed on jobs/projects.
• This discipline will be responsible for writing documents as needs are identified by the Government
• This discipline will follow all VGS standard policies and practices.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications

• Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date
• Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date. Passport must have a minimum of 6 blank pages prior to OCONUS mobilization.
• Must satisfy the pre-deployment medical requirements for CENTCOM prior to OCONUS mobilization and must be able to maintain a Medically Qualified (MQ) rating on an annual basis.
• Must be CAC eligible and able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ industry experience
• Preferred to be a licensed PE (Professional Engineer)
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in associated education to the functions of the job
• Proactive nature and strong interpersonal skills in collaborating, communicating, and working with (1) Other senior managers and staff (to include Site management team), (2) Local and International subcontractors; (3) US Military representatives; and (4) Local officials as required.
• Duties may involve work outdoors with a potential exposure to desert climatic conditions
• Scheduled work hours up to 72 hours per week
• Must currently possess, or be eligible for, a SECRET clearance
