As Junior Systems Engineer with JRC, you will...
- Update and track risks for the Launcher Branch, ensuring timely reporting throughout the Chain of Command
- Develop and present program status and metrics updates for external reporting
- Maintain and issue System Engineering updates, including agendas, minutes, and action items
- Collaborate with Naval Systems Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane and industry partners on the SWS Launcher System
- Develop and review technical documents for accuracy and impact
- Address and resolve design disclosures, change requests, and discrepancy reports
- Ensure compliance with requirement verification and collect Objective Quality Evidence
- Assist with weekly tasks, future capabilities, and schedule oversight for the Launcher Branch
- Contribute to readiness, operations, infrastructure, manpower analysis, and logistics programs
- Develop and implement risk management plans
- Provide support to program managers as assigned
What you bring to the table...
- A bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited institution
- 4+ years of experience
- Must be granted and maintain a SECRET level security clearance
- Team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to large teams and senior leaders
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project)
- Experience leading technical teams to achieve time-critical objectives
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, high-visibility situations
