Primary Responsibilities:
Provides expertise supporting systems and software support, and instructional design for the U.S. Army Intelligence Center of Excellence’s (USAICoE) Directorate of Training (DOT).
Conduct functional and empirical analysis to support the design, development, and implementation of software systems, including application, utility, development, and diagnostic software.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure software solutions align with training objectives and operational requirements.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Develop, write, review, and format high-quality training materials for officer and enlisted courses.
Support other DOT requirements as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Possess a Top Secret (TS) Special Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
Six years military intelligence experience; served in the MI branch as an Intelligence Officer, Senior Non-Commissioned Officer, or Senior Warrant Officer, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force or U.S. Marine Corps specialties in support of authorized intelligence activities as defined by AR 381-10 within the last ten years.
Six years of experience providing functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software systems, including, but not limited to application software, utility software, development software, and diagnostic software.
Experience with the following:
Designing and delivering exercise-based solutions geared towards small group activities and promoting key intelligence soldier competencies
Developing test strategies, devices, and systems
Solving engineering problems
Conducting or participating in multidisciplinary research and collaborating with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems software.
Determining computer user needs and advising hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements.
Analyzing and providing problem resolution for data networks. Must have experience providing technical analysis in data network planning.
Tracking throughput and response time of the data network to provide maximum availability and critical scheduling of data transfers.
Analyzing user requests to determine needs and recommends appropriate solutions.
Proposing solutions to management to provide all the data requirements based upon needs and current usage.
Data scripting and data migration to maintain existing training data, create new training data, and verify validity of data migrated for IEWTPT ingest.
Managing information systems design, development, and analysis in support of training requirements
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at the intermediate level using formulas for data normalization and manipulation
