Job Description:
Provide strategic planning of large projects or a significant segment of a strategic planning portion of a large complex project. Ensures continuity of the technical direction and implementation across multiple development teams contributing to a single application. Assists government in developing technical strategic direction. Develops solutions to complex technical problems using industry best practices. Maintains a full understanding of all aspects of the production system and the impact of future changes. Advises the government on the best approach to complex problems. Documents solutions and project plans in a way that can be implemented by development teams. Guides development teams through project implementation. Identifies and tracks progress towards schedule milestones. Assist in preparation of key strategic planning documentation.
The Solutions Architect will support the identification, evaluation and implementation of new IT technologies as a means to improve operational efficiencies/service delivery, reduce total cost of IT ownership, and expand IT service catalog offerings to better meet current and future customer requirements. The Solutions Architect will report to the Program Manager and be responsible for technology analysis, risk assessment and implementing technical standards in accordance with applicable instructions, guidance, and directives.

- 10 years of relevant experience
- Relevant BS or BA Degree
