Overview:

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the enterprise network team in designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise networking platforms on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Ensure that all network platforms are efficiently architected, optimized for future growth, and compliant with industry and DoD regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee daily network operations, monitoring, logging, and reporting to continuously improve performance and security.
  • Collaborate closely with third parties, affiliates, and cross-functional teams to ensure platforms operate securely across private networks and public internet services.
  • Support all Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities, including due diligence, data gathering, and leading network integration efforts.
  • Develop and execute roadmaps for expanding the enterprise network while maintaining command, control, and compliance across all sites.
  • Review and enhance IT policies and procedures related to enterprise networking to align with corporate guidelines.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing and scheduling of Network Engineers for 24/7 production network support.
  • Contribute to disaster preparedness and business continuity planning for mission-critical network operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge bases and documentation to enable rapid recovery from network outages.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of enterprise networking software and hardware, including budget oversight, vendor relations, and lifecycle renewals.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree in a computer-related field with 8+ years of related experience, or an AS degree with 10+ years related experience
  • 8+ years supporting complex enterprise networking environments
  • Proven experience with data center management, consolidation, IT operations, and M&A activities
  • Must hold one or more of the following: CCNP, CISSP, VCP-NV, or CompTIA Network+
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
Extensive hands-on experience with:
  • Enterprise Switching/Routing (Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, Arista)
  • Cisco Edge Routers (ASR, ISR)
  • Firewalls/IPS/IDS (Palo Alto)
  • VPN (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto)
  • SDWAN Technologies (SilverPeak, Arista, Palo Alto)
  • Microsoft Azure Networking Services (VNet, NSG, Azure Firewalls, Traffic Manager)
  • Load Balancing (F5, Azure, Cloudflare, Citrix Netscaler)
  • Infoblox BloxOne DDI (IPAM/DNS/DNS Protection)
  • Carrier Management (DIA & MPLS)
  • Enterprise Voice Collaboration (Microsoft Teams)
  • Network Monitoring Tools (PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios)
