We are seeking a highly experienced Aviation Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team, specializing in aviation maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess extensive executive-level leadership experience, with a proven track record of overseeing complex maintenance operations for both fixed and rotary wing platforms. This role requires deep expertise in aviation maintenance systems, processes, and leadership.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $151,800 to $253,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior advisor and subject matter expert on all aspects of aviation maintenance.
- Provide executive-level guidance and support to clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee and advise on maintenance operations for a variety of fixed and rotary wing aviation platforms, such as F/A-18, E-2, P-8, H-60, V-22, and H-53, including their subsystems.
- Lead and mentor teams in the implementation and optimization of aviation maintenance technology systems and processes.
- Collaborate directly with senior leadership to develop and execute maintenance strategies that support mission readiness and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and best practices in aviation maintenance.

Qualifications:
Required
- Minimum of 25 years of direct experience in aviation maintenance
- 10+ years experience working with technology systems and processes utilized across client's aviation maintenance, and experience supervising maintenance operations for fixed and rotary wing aviation platforms and subsystems.
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Candidates must possess Secret Clearance.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Recognized expertise in maintenance process improvement and technology integration.
