Position Overview
We are seeking a talented .NET Developer to join our expanding team in Tampa, FL. This role is ideal for a motivated developer with a strong foundation in .NET technologies and a passion for building secure, scalable web applications. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C# and the .NET MVC framework
- Implement and optimize data access using Entity Framework and ADO.NET
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs
- Write efficient SQL/T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions
- Collaborate in an Agile development environment using tools like Git and TFS
- Contribute to front-end development using JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue preferred)
- Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and testing
- Support security compliance efforts, including obtaining Security+ certification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Willingness to obtain a DoD Security Clearance, this requires U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification within 90 days of hire
- Availability to work onsite in Tampa, FL three days per week
- Proficient in C# and .NET (MVC, .NET Core)
- Experience with Entity Framework, ADO.NET, JavaScript, CSS
- Solid understanding of SQL Server technologies
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue preferred)
- Experience with RESTful web services
- Proficient with version control tools (Git, TFS)
- Agile development experience
