Systems Test Engineer - Aurora, CO - Active TS/SCI with CI Poly

Senior Systems Engineer needed for a 12+ month contract opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Aurora, CO.

Note: This role is also open to candidates that reside in State College, PA, Richardson, TX, and Dulles, VA.

Contract Lenth: 6+ Months, possible conversion to FTE

*Must have an active TS/SCI with Poly clearance to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

• The systems test engineer will execute multiple aspects of the systems engineering discipline, to include software test, requirements traceability into software functions, system performance analysis, and system integration and test activities to ensure system requirements closure
• The system test engineer will interact with the agile development team regarding technical considerations, risks, and issue closure associated within the system capabilities.
• The candidate must also possess the ability to multi-task, adapt to rapidly changing circumstances, effectively network, and communicate to the appropriate levels of the organization and support schedules and delivery milestones

Required Qualifications:

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
• Have a CompTIA Security + Certification - Linux
• Demonstrated system engineering lifecycle experience developing or testing large software systems
• Leading test events, customer demos, test team coordination, modifying and creating test procedures, ad hoc testing, documenting test results, and reporting and writing defect reports
• Support of agile software development activities, including requirements specification and integration test and verification activities (full life cycle)
• Ability to maintain technical cost and schedule for systems test engineering and software integration activities
• Have excellent communication and organizational skills; able to articulate intent, frame requirements and test activities, set priorities, develop practical methods, and align resources to meet goals.
• Experience interacting with both programmatic and technical presentations
• Have an Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with Poly security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• Significant experience working in DevOps and/or DevSecOps or test-driven development in an Agile development environment
• Experience in a technical role of a large multi-disciplined engineering team
• Experience with cloud-based S/W architectures and systems
• AWS cloud experience - AWS cloud technology knowledge and implementation
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) knowledge and experience, as a System Engineer
• Experience using modeling resources and methodologies like Cameo, Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, etc.
• Experience using Agile tool sets (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.), and evaluation of COTS / FOSS applications
