Portfolio Management Specialist
The Opportunity:
As a portfolio management specialist, knowing the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion is essential. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it is imperative to keep a project on a productive path. That is why a seasoned project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication is needed.
The successful candidate will serve as a portfolio lead for a DoD client and be responsible for the day-to-day management of various projects as assigned by the client, throughout an entire life-cycle. You will analyze existing policies and processes to identify organizational improvements that streamline the client's portfolio. The work performed in support of this client will have direct impacts upon U.S. defense priorities.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience working for the DoD, Joint Staff, or a Service-level staff office developing executive-level briefings and deliverables
- Experience with developing written products and information papers, briefings, and presentations
- Experience with evaluating and overseeing project execution of near-term, mid-term, and long-term assignments
- Experience with foreign military sales or conducting international business
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree

- Experience with drafting and revising congressional reports and inquiries
