Position Description Summary:
The Metrics Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting on business metrics to support operational and strategic initiatives. This role involves leveraging data tools to create high-quality reports and presentations, as well as working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize business performance for Navy operations.
Responsibilities:
• Collect, analyze, and interpret business data to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics tracking tools using MS Access, SharePoint, and other platforms.
• Prepare and deliver high-level briefings and reports using Microsoft PowerPoint and other MS Office tools.
• Support data collection, validation, and analysis efforts to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and business objectives.
• Develop automated processes and workflows for improved business operations using SQL and related tools.
• Document analytical processes and maintain data management procedures
Skills & Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, business management, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access, SharePoint, SQL, and the Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience in creating and delivering high-level presentations to stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. university in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Security Clearance Required: Active SECRET clearance is required.
