You will be a Project Engineer on the Integrated Air & Missile Defense Advanced Programs team, responsible for designing, prototyping, testing, and rapidly fielding solutions for all services. Our team is growing and dynamic, with a focus on innovation and accelerated timelines.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Project Engineer, you will work directly with Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads and cross-functional team members to plan and organize costs, schedules, procurements, and deliverables. You will facilitate formal and informal reviews with internal stakeholders, government customers, and industry partners, and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Working with IPT leads and cross-functional teams to plan and organize project elements
• Facilitating reviews and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders
• Managing costs, schedules, and deliverables to meet accelerated timelines
• Collaborating with team members to identify and mitigate risks and opportunities

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
* Demonstrated ability to lead and drive highly technical hardware related projects and lead associated schedule and technical scope
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline
* U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret level or higher clearance
Desired Skills:
* (Highly Desired) Demonstrated ability as a player & coach in highly dynamic, fast-paced technical environments
* Knowledge of agile practices and their practical application in hardware- and software-based solutions
* Systems engineering or architecture experience
* Hands on rapid prototyping (or equivalent) experience in hardware- or software-based efforts. This includes active or recent personal experiences such as rebuilding cars, flying modified UAVs, or developing software in any part of the stack
* Demonstrated ability to manage costs and manpower needs
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
