Description:You will be the Quality Engineer responsible for applying quality principles to ensure the highest standards of product or process quality for make and/or buy products. Our team is responsible for driving continuous improvement and ensuring that all products meet or exceed design and process requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for performing technical evaluations, designing inspection and testing processes, and conducting product quality tests to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality-related issues, driving corrective and preventative measures to ensure continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, and designs
- Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment
- Conducting product quality tests and performing statistical analysis to assess products or materials
- Collaborating with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers on quality-related issues
- Investigating product failures, non-conformances, and implementing corrective and preventative actions
- Evaluating quality systems for deficiencies and recommending correction actions

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
STEM degree at Bachelor's level or higher
Must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
Manufacturing experience in Circuit Card Assembly, Wiring Harnesses, and/or Printed Wiring Boards.
Problem Solving/ Root cause analysis
ASQ certification
Six Sigma Green Belt certification
Familiarity with industry standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC and J-STD).
Experience conducting First Article Inspections to AS9102 and working with government customers.
SAP experience.
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
Organized with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
