Solidus is hiring a Systems Integration and Test Engineer. This is an on-site role based in Aurora, CO.
Day in the Life:
- Integrate, verify, and validate products, exercising them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time
- Develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers
- Support a cross-disciplinary team of system and software engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions
- Assist in the documentation and definition of all Test and Integration events.
- Support the SI&T team in an Agile, DevSecOps environment:
- Support the overall test strategy, including plan and procedure development
- Integrating software and hardware
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues
- Develop automated test scripts and their execution
- Generate, review, maintain, and manage documentation
- Conduct performance analysis, risk analysis, and trade studies
- Prepare and conduct program reviews
- Collaborate across functions in support of successful program execution
- Support technical interchange meetings with the customer
- US Citizen with an active Top Secret Clearance
- Undergo a comprehensive background investigation
- Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years of prior relevant systems integration and test experience
- Clear understanding of all test-related requirements, interfaces, and test results
- Ability to track and gather artifacts and analyze results
- Experience in systems and requirements in a test environment: requirements analysis, developing associated documentation for integration and verification (plans, procedures, and reports), and supporting integration and verification execution events
- Experience with the Atlassian Suite, including Jira and Confluence
- Experience in Java development, Experience engaging with and presenting technical and programmatic leadership
- Active TS/SCI is preferred
- Experience in Systems Engineering on a large government program, with preference for ground systems solutions programs
- Experience in Agile and DevOps, Experience in pipeline, and associated tools (Jenkins)
- Experience in manual testing techniques, including writing new procedures from scratch and maintaining/updating legacy test procedures
- Experience in automation testing tool suites such as Gherkin/Cucumber
- Master's degree in (STEM)
