Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team guides clients through critical moments and major changes. From strategy to execution, this team delivers integrated support and advisory services. These services include valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. Work alongside clients every step of the way. Help them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions at every stage-before, during, and after major projects or transactions.
Work You'll Do
Serve as the waterfront representative. Use a strong understanding of ship maintenance policies and processes to support requirements. Ensure material readiness to maintain the highest level of planning and execution for depot maintenance availabilities.Represent the government client by providing oversight, direction, and advisory in major maintenance/modernization planning and execution.Address lessons learned in advanced planning and execution across all ship classes. Maintain high standards for depot maintenance availabilities.Ensure Maintenance Team compliance with Fleet Maintenance and Modernization policies.Provide expertise and continuity to assigned ships and Maintenance teams in defining maintenance requirements and managing maintenance to maximize readiness.Prepare reports and correspondence related to surface ship maintenance progress, problems, and solutions.Investigate significant incidents affecting costs, schedule adherence, contractor performance, and material support.Develop risk-assessed evaluations of new or growth work modifications.Perform evaluations and propose improvements for future modernization planning activities.Participate in special projects aimed at improving maintenance management processes or surface ship maintenance execution.

Required Qualifications
o Bachelors degree OR Associates degree plus 6 years of experience Or high school diploma plus 12 years of experience
o Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employer sponsorship is not needed now or in the future.
o Active Secret security clearance required
o Must have knowledge of surface ship maintenance policies, processes, and strategies
o Thorough knowledge of the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM)
o Ability to be on site 100% in San Diego, CA
Preferred Qualifications
o Project and risk management
o Military and technical experience is highly desirable
o Detail-oriented with excellent research and organizational skills
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint Online)
o Executive level skills in oral and written communications
o Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
o Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects 78.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,750 to $179,900.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
