GEOINT Throughput Analyst, Mid
The Opportunity:
With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. With the critical decisions made in our government and military every day, we need an intel analyst like you to do just that. As a source throughput analyst ( STA ) or collection and requirements manager, you use your spe cia lized GEOINT experience and attention to detail to develop reports, intelligence, and analytic assessments to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters, protect our national security, and inform our client and national leadership.
As an intelligence analyst on our team, you'll help your client understand and analyze a variety of information and intelligence relevant to the threats facing the systems, assets, and resources critical to the nation and develop relevant research studies and recommendations. Using your understanding of various collection platforms, you'll explore new data sources, develop effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources such as GEOINT, SIGINT, ELINT, MASINT, and open-source. You'll validate information and apply client tradecraft as you build assessments for warfighters, senior policy makers, internal clients, and U.S. Intelligence Community ( IC ) -wide stakeholders. As the authority on your GEOINT tradecraft, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- Experience with GEOINT analysis, collection requirements, operations, or tasking, and collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination ( TCPED ) processes as a source throughput analyst ( STA ) , source strategies analyst ( SSA ) , or collection and requirements manager
- Experience providing recommendations for solutions to meet user needs
- Knowledge of national, commer cia l, and airborne GEOINT sensors and capabilities, and supporting dissemination processes and architectures
- Knowledge of GEOINT collection processes, geospatial information systems ( GIS ) , or geospatial data and analysis
- Ability to liaise with partners across the intelligence community ( IC ) and DoD to innovate and enable intelligence integration
- Ability to discover, collaborate on, and integrate new technologies into GEOINT TCPED
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team to manage competing demands and changing priorities to enable GEOINT throughput
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- HS diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience with GEOINT, Asso cia te's degree and 3+ years of experience with GEOINT, or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with GEOINT
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with GEOINT International Affairs strategy, mission, policy , and procedures
- Experience working with the Disclosure and Release office on data or content release decisions
- Experience working with fielding GEOINT systems to international partners
- Experience with GIS tools and capabilities
- Experience with national-level GEOINT data repositories like Net-centric GEOINT Discovery Services ( NGDS ) and similar libraries
- Experience developing requirements for GEOINT systems
- Knowledge of GEOINT foreign disclosure and release processes
- Knowledge of GEOINT Integration Programs
- Knowledge of IT architectures
- Geospatial-Intelligence Proficiency Level-Foundation ( GPC-F ) Certification
