Job Description
Ready to make a difference in Aegis Development using Digital Engineering techniques? BAE Systems is looking for a part-time Senior Project Manager on our AEGIS Technical Representative (TECHREP) program to work as part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team to accelerate the development, deployment, and adoption of digital engineering tools across our AEGIS-program community.
The senior leader will assist in developing the technical acumen of a team of Aegis Product engineers through System Engineering and Test & Evaluation processes serving the AEGIS TECHREP customer. The position includes mentoring product new hires as well as guiding experienced product responsible engineers with the application of new digital transformation techniques, metric gathering and their process interpretation and applicability. The candidate with also be responsible to provide clear communications to the government product leads and the Baseline Managers. Duties may also include providing weekly reports and meeting sync-ups with senior leadership to communicate and cooperatively problem solve systemic and resource issues. Responsibilities may include: Supporting the CHENG, Systems Engineering Manager, and Advanced Technology Team (ATT) Manager in all system engineering content and work products Provide management, direction, administration, quality control, and leadership of the execution of the Program. Ensure timely, high quality delivery of all services and products to meet customer's mission. Serve as a Scrum Master to facilitate new weekly baseline project metrics introduced by the new DE Tools relaunch and associated meetings to meet deliverables in accordance with the Government-approved delivery schedule. Expertly manage and mitigate risks, and plan to deliver opportunities. Be readily available to respond to Government questions, concerns, and comments, and be proactive in alerting the Government to potential contractual and programmatic issues. Conduct recurring PMRs with customers, and meet all CDRL deliverables requirements on time with high-quality reporting and products. Manage and participate in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings Supports proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities. This position will require you to be onsite at our Mt. Laurel, NJ office to support in-person collaboration.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- At least 20 years of experience leading cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of combat system software products for the AEGIS Weapon System
- Bachelor's Degree of Science (or equivalent experience in a relevant field) with a minimum work experience of:
- Possess an Active US Government security clearance (with ability to possess TS)
- Leadership skills and experience directing and mentoring engineers on complex programs
- Expert in effectively documenting, communicating, leading and working with a team on designs, results, reports, and presentations.
- Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test)
- Experience developing viable concept solutions, identifying and tracking technical risks, and leading technical teams
- EVMS certification and previous CAM experience required.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Project/Program team member responsible for workflow, which is dynamic in nature.
- Experience with technical performance measurements and cost account management.
- Model based systems engineering experience with tools such as MagicDraw.
- Familiarity or experience with Agile Systems Engineering
- Active United States security clearance, Top Secret, SCI Eligible
