Job Description
The BAE Systems Air and Space Force Solutions (ASFS) Integration Support Contract (ISC) Business Unit is seeking a Deputy Chief Engineer to support the ISC Chief Engineer in all aspects of their roles, responsibilities, accountabilities, and authorities. The successful candidate will provide multidisciplinary technical support to the ICBM Program Executive Office (PEO), the two individual ICBM Program Offices and weapon systems, and all ISC members. This position will also contribute to the broader BAE Systems-related technical and business goals of the ISC, the ASFS Business Area, and the Intelligence and Security Sector.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

This position will also contribute to the broader BAE Systems-related technical and business goals of the ISC, the ASFS Business Area, and the Intelligence and Security Sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the ISC Chief Engineer in planning, coordinating, and executing technical and management efforts, including:
- Weapon System sustainment, including System Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Processes; Hardware and Software Sustaining Engineering; and Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis
- Technical Program support, including Program Schedule Management, Acquisition Program Documentation Preparation, Program Risk Management, and Strategic Planning
- Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) support, including Force Development Evaluation and Operational Test Launch Support
- Implement and support the BAE Systems Life Cycle Management (LCM) process and related activities, to include conducting Independent Design Review and Technical Bid Reviews. Participating in Bid and Proposal Color Reviews, Phase Reviews, and briefings to Senior Leadership.
- Analyze customer priorities, budgets, command structures, and acquisition approaches to inform ISC execution strategies and activities
- Help develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems/tools to support internal business and external ISC customer priorities
- Contribute to ISC strategic workforce development, critical and core skill training initiatives, and community support activities
- Support strategic planning efforts, including identifying long-term market trends and areas for internal investment
- Assist business winning, growth, and strategy personnel in translating customer requirements into executable solutions

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical field
- 12 years of experience working with DoD-related complex, large-scale strategic weapon systems-of-systems (9 years of experience with a master's degree)
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong information organization, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral and written)
- Active Secret DoD security clearance (or higher), with the ability to obtain and retain a Top Secret clearance and program-specific special accesses
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Graduate degree in an engineering or related technical field
- Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Automation, and Autonomy
- Over 15 years of experience working with DoD-related complex, large-scale strategic weapon systems-of-systems, particularly nuclear weapon-related systems acquisition, engineering, sustainment, testing, integration, standards, surety, and/or safety
