Medical Training Coordinator - Virginia Beach

Position Overview

RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a Medical Training Coordinator in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor, direct, and coordinate all facets of the medical training program
• Manage and provide input on training and qualification requirements
• Assist in developing instructional materials
• Provide medical-related training
• Assist with strategic planning
• Attend meetings, conferences, briefings, and seminars
• Develop and perform medical-related exercises
• Research new equipment and technology
• Develop a submit a variety of reports and other documentation

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 10 years of military medical experience is desired
• At least 3 years of military experience conducting medical training
• Completed training in medical trauma within the past three years
• At least 5 years' experience developing long- and short-range planning and coordination of medical-specific training programs
• Current certification in basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, including Automated External Defibrillator
• At least 5 years' experience applying advanced medical principles, policies, and standards in the development and execution of comprehensive medical training techniques and procedures
• Thorough knowledge of training concepts, techniques, and training program/curriculum development; Master Training Specialist Qualification highly desired
• Valid state driver's license
• Ability to operate a personal computer with common/standard business software programs; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others both verbally and in writing
• Ability to enter data into multiple databases accurately
• Secret security clearance
• Ability to travel multiple times to various Continental United States and Outside of the Continental United States locations
• Ability to work in extreme-weather environments
• Ability to lift and manipulate loads and weights up to 70 kilograms
