Vehicle Operator Instructor
Primary Location: Camp Pendleton, CA
Clearance: Secret
Job Summary
The Vehicle Operator Instructor will provide specialized training support for the USMC , transitioning from Marine-led instruction to contract support as the program has matured. This role involves training Marines on new equipment and Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) operations.

Job Summary
The Vehicle Operator Instructor will provide specialized training support for the USMC , transitioning from Marine-led instruction to contract support as the program has matured. This role involves training Marines on new equipment and Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) operations.
Specific Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle operator training for Marines on ACV variants and new amphibious assault equipment
- Provide instruction on initial fielding of new equipment for the Advanced Amphibious Assault program
- Deliver comprehensive training programs for ACV operations and related systems
- Ensure Marines achieve required operator license certification for specific ACV variants
- Support the transition from Marine-led to contractor-supported training delivery
- Maintain training standards and documentation per USMC requirements
- Develop and update training materials as program requirements evolve
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid ACV Operator license for specific Amphibious Combat Vehicle variants
- Must be physically and mentally capable of successfully completing Marine Corps Water Survival Training Program (MCO 1500.52D)
- Must be physically and mentally capable of successfully completing Marine Corps Submerged Egress Training (SVET)
- Demonstrated experience in military vehicle operations (preferably amphibious vehicles)
- Previous instructional or training experience preferred
- Knowledge of Marine Corps training protocols and standards
- Security clearance eligibility (minimum Secret)
- Experience with ACV systems and operations highly desired
- Must pass Marine Corps Water Survival Training Program and Submerged Egress Training
- Ability to work in marine/amphibious training environments
- Physical demands associated with vehicle operations training
- Work performed primarily outdoors and in training facilities
- Minimal travel between training sites as required
- Occasional travel for training updates or program meetings
