They are actively seeking a highly qualified Configuration Management Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our client's dynamic team supporting a MAF DMO program with the United States Air Force.
Clearance: DoD Secret Clearance Required.
Workplace Type: Onsite. Remote work is not an option.

Analyzes changes of product design to determine the effect on the end product design and function and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change.
Designs and establishes management documentation. Authorizes the release of drawings, and software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups. Develops and maintains software configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and externally purchased commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products.
Performs configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard hardware configurations, and are logistically sustainable.
Designs, develops, automates, and maintains productivity tools using programming, database or scripting languages to improve software modeling and development. Designs and implements build procedures that are used to support software product development and use. May develop software configuration standards for company-wide use.
May train software developers in the use of configuration management tools and the implementation of software quality standards. May provide guidance to less experienced employees.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all configuration management (CM) related activities.
Develop and maintain CM plans, policies, procedures, and associated documentation.
Manage and control changes to baseline configurations.
Perform audits of systems and software to verify compliance with established baselines.
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
Monitor and report on CM metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Investigate and resolve CM issues in a timely manner.
Support the development and implementation of new technologies and processes.
Provide training and guidance to project teams on CM best practices.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CM tools and techniques.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Keep abreast of industry trends and developments.
The qualified candidate will have the following knowledge and experience:
Configuration Management Analyst (Level 2):
Experienced with frequent use and application of technical standards, principles and theories.
Works under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity.
Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 2 - 4yrs of experience, or a Master's with 0-2 yrs. of experience
Configuration Management Analyst, Senior (Level 3):
Career level with a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts.
Working under only general direction, provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 5 - 7 yrs. of experience, or a Master's and 3 to 5 yrs. of experience.
Must currently hold and able to maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Must be able to travel.
