The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.
The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) within JOID provides analytical, technical, and program support to promote, grow, and protect the U.S. industrial base. ISAG's support spans the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Commerce, and other agencies to deliver critical decision support to national security leaders. Our team informs policy decisions, enables execution of comprehensive strategies and monitors and reports on the effectiveness of implementation. This enables senior leaders to execute strategies for developing and sustaining a robust industrial base that meets our nation's strategic resource objectives. From policy to practice, we are a team of economic and national security professionals providing innovative solutions for our Nation's most pressing security challenges.
We have an upcoming need for a Senior Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert to provide onsite support out of the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA.
Responsibilities
ISAG has an upcoming need for an experienced Cybersecurity SME to support the Assistant Secretary of Defense (ASD) for Industrial Base Policy on The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). CFIUS is an interagency committee authorized to review certain transactions involving foreign investment in the U.S. and certain real estate transactions by foreign persons, to determine the effect such transactions may have on national security. The candidate will support DoD's Office of Global Investment and Economic Security in developing risk mitigation options and the monitoring and compliance of CFIUS mitigation agreements. The candidate will review, assess, and recommend mitigation to cybersecurity threats to the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). Responsibilities will include identifying and addressing cybersecurity risks associated with foreign investment in the DIB, along with regular and active engagement with cybersecurity stakeholders across the DoD and U.S. government. This role includes domestic and possibly international travel.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity
- 10+ years of recent and relevant experience managing, auditing, or evaluating corporate cyber activities
- Advanced understanding of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other cybersecurity controls
- Demonstrated knowledge of complex architectures, networks, and cyber operations to include metrics, ratings, and standards
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- CompTIA Security+ and/or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) certification
- Ability to travel
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Able to work fully onsite based on client needs
