We're looking for a Network Engineer III with a strong background in IT enterprise operations, multi-cloud architecture, and infrastructure project execution to support critical federal government initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee daily operations of enterprise-level IT systems including networks, servers, virtualized infrastructure, and databases
  • Lead the integration and performance of the Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • Design and manage operational procedures to ensure the reliability and scalability of IT services
  • Direct complex IT infrastructure and cloud migration projects with cross-functional teams
  • Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices and disaster recovery protocols
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, government standards, and security frameworks
  • Collaborate with FEMA stakeholders to align IT operations with strategic goals
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on continuous improvement initiatives

REQUIREMENTS
  • 8+ years of experience managing enterprise-level IT operations and infrastructure
  • CISSP, CCNP or CCNA, and Professional Cloud Solutions Architect certifications
  • Certification or proven experience in Multi-Cloud Environments (AWS, GCP, OCI, Azure)
  • Experience leading NOC/SOC functions and ensuring operational excellence
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization, enterprise networking, and ITIL-based service delivery
  • Experience managing cloud migrations and hybrid infrastructure at scale
  • Proven ability to manage teams and complex technical projects
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills
  • Must obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance prior to start

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior experience supporting FEMA or other DHS components
  • Familiarity with federal IT compliance frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53)
  • Experience with DevSecOps or cloud-native automation tools
  • Background in IT infrastructure optimization, disaster recovery planning, and risk assessments
