RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily operations of enterprise-level IT systems including networks, servers, virtualized infrastructure, and databases
- Lead the integration and performance of the Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Design and manage operational procedures to ensure the reliability and scalability of IT services
- Direct complex IT infrastructure and cloud migration projects with cross-functional teams
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices and disaster recovery protocols
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, government standards, and security frameworks
- Collaborate with FEMA stakeholders to align IT operations with strategic goals
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on continuous improvement initiatives
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of experience managing enterprise-level IT operations and infrastructure
- CISSP, CCNP or CCNA, and Professional Cloud Solutions Architect certifications
- Certification or proven experience in Multi-Cloud Environments (AWS, GCP, OCI, Azure)
- Experience leading NOC/SOC functions and ensuring operational excellence
- Strong knowledge of virtualization, enterprise networking, and ITIL-based service delivery
- Experience managing cloud migrations and hybrid infrastructure at scale
- Proven ability to manage teams and complex technical projects
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills
- Must obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance prior to start
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience supporting FEMA or other DHS components
- Familiarity with federal IT compliance frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53)
- Experience with DevSecOps or cloud-native automation tools
- Background in IT infrastructure optimization, disaster recovery planning, and risk assessments
