As a Software Engineer, you'll contribute directly to creating immersive, realistic training environments that set new standards in aviation and virtual simulation technology. Collaborate closely with a diverse group of specialists to craft cutting-edge experiences in real-time rendering and interactive simulations.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with graphics specialists, simulation technicians, and senior engineers.
Design, code, test, debug, manage, and deploy real-time graphics rendering engines and simulator models.
Develop sophisticated simulation models including vehicle dynamics, systems simulations, and 2D/3D graphics leveraging OpenGL.
Work on virtual and blended reality applications, graphical user interfaces, and hardware interfaces with network and serial communication systems.
Optimize, debug, and integrate visual databases using proprietary software tools.
Support proposal development, technical writing, scheduling, and project management tasks.
Qualifications:
Technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering.
2-5 years of relevant software development experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio (2013-2022).
Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Competency using Microsoft Office 365 suite.
Experience with project management software tools.
