TQI Solutions is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst - Audit Support and Self-Assessment to support Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard (PHNSY). In this role, you will be responsible for assessing compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity standards, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance the security posture of critical military assets.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of military information systems, networks, and platforms to identify deviations from acceptable configurations and security policies.
• Lead the implementation and execution of RMF processes, including security control assessments, vulnerability assessments, and authorization packages.
• Ensure compliance with DoD directives, including AR 25-2, AR 380-19, and NIST 800-53, and support the development of policies and procedures to enhance security measures.
• Perform detailed analysis and validation of security controls to assess their effectiveness in mitigating identified risks.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to analyze and remediate security incidents, providing technical expertise in identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and training to junior analysts and personnel on cybersecurity best practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership, outlining findings, risk assessments, and recommended mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6-10 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with at least 3 years specializing in military technical security evaluations.
• ServiceNow ticket management experience preferred.
• Certifications: At least one of the following certifications is required:
o Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
o Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
o Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)
o CompTIA Security+
• Proven experience and demonstrated proficiency in preparing for and responding to External Cybersecurity and Information Assurance audits and inspections as well as self-assessment and internal quality assurance activities for evaluating cybersecurity control effectiveness.
• Proficiency in security assessment tools and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security architecture.
• This position may require night, weekend or holiday support
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Candidates must be eligible for a background investigation.
