SMX is searching for a strong Administrative Assistant to support our government client and the maintenance and management of all Marine Corps office spaces in the Pentagon and the Arlington Service Center (ASC). Within AR, the Security Programs and Information Management Branch (ARS), is responsible for providing access control requirements and security guidance for renovations and new construction.

The proposed salary for this position is:
$19.56 - $29.33 USD

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate schedules, meetings and activities for the purpose of supporting Construction Surveillance staff with operational activities
- Maintain a wide variety of files and records (manual/computer; confidential/non-confidential) for the purpose of providing documentation in accordance with construction surveillance requirements
- Monitor assigned departmental activities and/or program components (e.g. travel arrangements, meetings and events, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring that goals are achieved, target dates are met, legal and/or administrative requirements are satisfied
- Prepare a variety of written materials (e.g. reports, memos, letters, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference and/or conveying information
- Respond to a variety of inquiries from internal and external parties for the purpose of providing information, facilitating communication among parties and/or providing direction
- Supports assigned Construction Surveillance personnel for the purpose of providing assistance with administrative functions
- Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment
Required Skills & Experience
- Clearance Required: Must be able to obtain Top Secret
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- The ability to multi-task and successfully prioritize workload
Desired Skills & Experience
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- 3 years of construction experience
- 3 years in construction security surveillance, technical surveillance countermeasures, industrial or government security
