Job Description
The selected applicant will apply knowledge of and experience with engineering principles and techniques to develop and evaluate moderately complex technical reports for US Coast Guard (USCG) Command, Control, and Communications, and Computers (C4) and navigation systems. Will create and analyze moderately complex C4 engineering documentation and work with new systems and equipment currently deployed aboard USCG Cutters and as such should have a good understanding of various C4 systems used throughout USCG or US Navy. Will be required to attend various coordination and ship integration meetings with shipbuilders.
This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High school diploma and at least 16 years of related experience OR
Associate degree and at least 14 years of related experience OR
Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of related experience
At least 5 years of experience with military information systems
Understanding of communications theory of operation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
USCG Cutter operational / underway experience
USCG Project Residence Office experience
Microsoft Office experience
Ability to be self motivated
USCG or Navy C4 systems
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
