Test Technician needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Lynnwood, WA.
Contract Length: 6+ Months, possible conversion to FTE

Job Description:
- Performs routine go/no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
- Sets up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods.
- Documents test results.
- May perform simple repairs and/or component removal or replacement.
- May maintain logs and records indicating malfunctions. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content.
- Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee.)
- Under limited supervision, performs the set up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
- Performs hand set ups for AC and DC digital tests.
- Recognizes failures and set up problems and determines need for appropriate verification.
- May prepare written reports.
- Receives some instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.
- Uses professional concepts to solve a variety of problems.
- Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
- Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
- Decisions or failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules.
- Interacts daily with supervisor, peer groups, and customers. Interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of factual information.
- Normally receives no instruction on routine work, little instruction on new assignments.
- Having some knowledge and experience, able to handle usual occurring job events.
- Choice of action requires more than common sense in that some training and experience is needed before knowing what to do under special circumstances.
- High school education or equivalent and 3+ years of related experience.
